Border agents seize 2 tons of marijuana in frozen mango pulp

Border Patrol agents seized almost two tons of marijuana, which was hidden in frozen mango pulp.

An 18-wheeler was pulled over at a checkpoint in Falfurrias and dogs alerted on the vehicle. Upon searching they found nearly two tons of marijuana, but had to wait for the mango pulp to thaw before retrieving it.

Agents estimated the value of the marijuana at more than $3 million.
