Cameron: Five Arrested In Drug Raids

Cameron police served search warrants Friday in the 100 block of North Ross, the 2900 block of North Travis and the 1600 block of Crockett and made five drug-related arrests.

The raids were the result of an investigation launched in response to complaints from residents about the sale of illegal drugs, police said.

Cameron officers and Department of Public Safety troopers executed warrants beginning at 2 p.m. Friday in what was dubbed Operation Green Friday and recovered marijuana and other drugs, two vehicles and an undisclosed quantity of cash, police said. Read more
