Cameron man arrested for marijuana trafficking in drug free zone

A man was arrested Monday by Milam County Sheriff Deputies following a two month investigation of marijuana trafficking near Cameron Elementary School.

Kevin Bailey, 28, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana less than 5 pounds in a drug free zone, after deputies executed a search warrant at his Cameron home in the 100 block of Terral Court.

According to the Milam County Sheriff’s Office, a pistol, more than a pound and a half of marijuana, items associated with marijuana sales, and as well as nearly $1,000 in cash were seized.
