Car carrying bundles of pot crashes into Texas school bus

The remains of a Nissan Altima after fire fighters cut the driver and passenger out of the car which crashed into a school bus.

After leading police on a car chase in a Nissan Altima, the driver of the vehicle crashed into a school bus in La Joya, Texas on Monday evening.

The school bus was not carrying any children at the time. Upon searching the vehicle, police found bundles of marijuana.

No detail were released about how much was found or what the names are of the driver and passenger, which were both male. Each were sent to the hospital, with the passenger in critical condition.

La Joya police were chasing the car eastbound because of a traffic violation, said Julian Gutierrez, La Joya police chief.
