Cowboys running back Randle arrested for marijuana

Dallas Cowboys running back Joseph Randle has been arrested for possession of marijuana.

Police were called in Wichita, KA. to investigate a call about domestic violence with a weapon. When they arrived at the hotel room Randle was renting, they observed an undisclosed amount of marijuana.

Randle was arrested, but was released without booking or a mug shot and given a notice to appear before a judge. Police are still investigating the domestic violence incident.

No weapon was found in the room when police arrived to speak with Randle and a 22-year-old woman.

Last October, Randle was arrested for shoplifting at a Frisco, Texas, mall for attempting to steal Polo underwear and a tester bottle of Gucci Guilty Black cologne.

Randle carried the ball 51 times for 343 yards and had three touchdowns in 2014.

With DeMarco Murray set to potentially leave the Cowboys as a free agent next season, Randle would be next in line to see an increased workload.
