DFW NORML to live stream cite and release meeting

DFW NORML will be live streaming their March meeting as they discuss Cite and Release policy for marijuana in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

Dallas City Council in a 10-5 vote recently rejected a pilot plan that would have had people given court summons for marijuana possession rather than be immediately arrested. The penalty would have been the same, but those caught wouldn’t have to spend a night in jail, post bail, and possibly have their vehicle impounded.

The meeting starts at 3 pm and will be held at the J. Erik Jonsson Central Library in Dallas. It will last until 4:20 pm.

Watch the live stream below, which begins at 2:45 pm.
