Drugs, guns and stolen property seized in east Texas

east texas drug ringExecuting a search warrant, Harrison County Sheriff’s deputies seized drugs, guns and stolen property from what they’re calling an east Texas drug ring.

According to Jay Webb with the Harrison County Sheriff’s Department, Galen Durden, 20; Camesha Robinson, 26; and Ivan Daniels, Jr., 18; were arrested after a search warrant was executed on two homes in Marshall, one in the 2400 block of Holmes Road and one in the 1100 block of James Farmer Road.

Several pounds of marijuana were found along with over 200 grams of methamphetamine, stolen weapons, televisions, cell phones and an undisclosed amount of money. A serial number check determined that three of the handguns were stolen during burglaries in Marion, Franklin and Panola Counties.
