Houston NORML launches radio ad for Global Marijuana March

Houston NORML is set to make a big splash this year with its first ever Global Marijuana March, and the non-profit group has produced an ad which will be airing on the radio, 94.5 The Buzz.

Happening on Saturday, May 2, the organization joins hundreds of other marches happening around the world that day, including four others in Texas, as they rally to raise awareness about the need to reform marijuana laws.

The 2015 Global Marijuana March will be held in Downtown Houston where supporters will gather at Hermann Square starting at noon to hear speakers on the steps of city hall. Then at 1:00 p.m. the group will begin their march through the streets several blocks down before returning back to Hermann Square.

Once back at the square, there will be more speakers, music, and vendors.

The event is family friendly and will be held on public property, meaning that per city ordinance, no smoking, pets, or glass containers are allowed.
