Huge marijuana grow operation found in Carl’s Corner
Carl’s Corner has been raided by Hill County sheriff’s deputies and U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration agents for a major cannabis growing operation.
The raid on Willie Nelson’s old stomping grounds took place early Wednesday morning at a rural home after officials received a tip about the in-door garden.
There was also suspicion after electricity bills for the residence had sky-rocketed due to the growing lamps.
About a half million dollars in plants were seized and three men were arrested, though their names were not released.
Over 200 plants were taken, along with lights and three vehicles.
