NORML of Waco to host Texas Trash Off and private party
Once every three months, a cannabis activist group out of Waco cleans up their adopted stretch up highway. The time is nearing again for another cleanup, but this time it will be during the state-wide Texas Trash Off.
NORML of Waco will be headed out to their stretch of road, Highway 164, between Mart and Highway 6 to be a part of what is a week long effort to pick up trash off the side of Texas roads.
The group will meet at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday morning, April 5, at Office Depot at the Central Texas Marketplace before heading out. The cleanup will last about three or four hours and water will be provided. Afterwards, anyone with a NORML membership, whether it be any local, state, or national chapter, is invited to a private party at an undisclosed location for a BBQ and a great time.
Anyone who wants to attend the cleanup is welcome to do so and the group hopes to bring people from all across the state to the event. For those who don’t have a NORML membership but want to attend the party, they can register to become a member for $25, which comes with a few perks as well.
