Over two and a half tons of marijuana hidden in peppers

San Antonio police pulled over an 18-wheeler Thursday morning around 1 a.m. for a traffic violation. After talking with the driver and passenger, inconsistent stories led the police to search the vehicle.

The truck was hauling poblano peppers and upon searching them the police found over 5,000 bundles of marijuana.

One person was detained and the truck was towed to San Antonio Produce Terminal according to local news.
