Rapper Cameron Thomaz, otherwise known as Wiz Khalifa, was arrested in May of 2014 after being caught with marijuana at a west Texas airport. He has now plead guilty and been ordered to pay a $500 fine.

After performing at a music festival in El Paso, Thomaz was in line at the airport when he was selected for secondary screening due to lack of identification. After a search, agents say they found a canister of marijuana on his person. He was arrested for misdemeanor possession and later posted a $300 bail.

Thomaz then missed a later hearing, failing to show up in court.

It was revealed that Thomaz possessed .5 grams of marijuana, and plead guilty to misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia. He did not personally appear in court to enter his plea.

Thomaz made headlines after posting a selfie while sitting in his jail cell after being arrested, captioning it as “jail selfie.”
