A Texas teenager has died after attempting to rob a man who agreed to sell him marijuana. Marcus Brown, 23, of Harker Heights is currently in Bell County Jail and has been charged with possession of marijuana with intent to deliver after police arrested him in connection with the shooting
State troopers said a 15-year-old boy led them on a high-speed chase during a marijuana smuggling attempt in Rio Grande City.
According to a probable cause affidavit, 19-year-old Melissa Ringhardt of Vidor, Texas was high on marijuana while she was babysitting both a 5-year-old boy and a 6 month old child. While she was asleep, the boy shot himself and died. Ringhardt has been charged with abandoning or endangering a child.
