Team Hope through Cannabis participates in Austin Race for the Cure

THC Race for the Cure

Team Hope through Cannabis (THC) of Texas NORML participated in the Austin Race for the Cure on November 10th, 2013. Nine team members were in attendance, as well as a small cheering section with signs calling for medical marijuana policy reform.

Some walked, some ran, and all had a great time supporting a great cause. One team member raised over $50 for breast cancer research.

THC attracted a good amount of attention at the event, started numerous conversations about marijuana policy, picked up new supporters, and made their presence felt. The group plans to participate in Austin Race for the Cure again next year.
