Teen shot by Texas officer tested positive for marijuana, synthetic LSD
It has been reported that a teen who was shot by an Arlington police officer had marijuana and synthetic LSD in his system, according to a Tarrant County medical examiner’s report.
19-year-old Christian Taylor was shot four times by officer in training Brad Miller after he broke into a local car dealership and vandalized several vehicles.
Miller, 49, was terminated by Arlington police days after the incident for failing to follow departmental policy and poor judgment which resulted in the fatal shooting of Taylor, who was unarmed.
Metabolites from marijuana can often stay in a person’s system up to 45 days, depending on how often the plant is consumed.
