Trooper finds 195 pounds of marijuana during traffic stop near Corpus Christi

Texas Department of Public SafetyThe Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) seized 195 pounds of marijuana on Monday after a Texas Highway Patrol trooper pulled over a Ford F-150 near Corpus Christi.

A trooper stopped the truck due to a traffic violation. A search of the vehicle turned up nine bundles of marijuana.

The driver, Rolando Nieves Harris, 26, of Hebbronville and passenger Roman Anthony Kujawski, 20, of Freer were arrested for possession of marijuana.

The charge carries a sentence of a minimum of two years in jail, and up to 20 with a $10,000 fine.
